Each institute is sealed off. The database itself keeps every institute’s records apart, so no mistake in the app can show one institute another’s students.
- (ii)
Two-factor sign-in. Owners always use an authenticator app; you can require it for admins and accountants too.
- (iii)
Encrypted backups every night. Kept away from the main server and restore-tested, so one bad day never costs you your records.
- (iv)
Personal details, need-to-know. Parents’ phone numbers are masked in lists and hidden from teachers.
- (v)
Every change on record. Who changed what and when, in an audit log nobody at your institute can edit or delete.
- (vi)
Built for India’s data law. Guardian consent is recorded, and a student’s details can be anonymised when they leave. Designed with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.

Do parents have to pay online?
Reply:No. Cash, cheque, bank transfer and UPI at the counter are all recorded with a proper receipt. The online payment link is there for parents who prefer it.

Can I move my existing students in?
Reply:Yes. Import them from an Excel or CSV sheet; you see a preview and every problem row before anything is saved. During your trial we help you do it, free.

How do the WhatsApp reminders work?
Reply:They go from your institute’s own WhatsApp Business number, using message templates approved by WhatsApp. You pay WhatsApp directly for the messages; FeeDesk adds nothing on top. If a WhatsApp message fails, an SMS can go instead.

Where does the online payment money go?
Reply:Straight into your own Razorpay account and from there to your bank. FeeDesk never holds your money and takes no commission.

Our internet is not always reliable. Will it work?
Reply:Yes. The pages are light, and teachers’ attendance marks are kept on the phone until they can be sent, so nothing is lost when the signal drops.

Who owns the data? Can I take it with me?
Reply:You do. Students, fees, receipts and reports can be downloaded as CSV or PDF at any time.

What happens when the trial ends?
Reply:Choose a plan and carry on with everything you entered. If you do not, the institute becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, and you can still view and download your records.

We have more than one branch.
Reply:Each branch has its own students, staff and collections, and reports can be viewed branch by branch or all together. Staff only see the branches they work in.
